1. Data we collect
When you create and use a TradeProof AI account, we collect:
- Account data: your name, email address, and a securely hashed version of your password
(we never store your password in readable form).
- Trading data you enter: trade details you log yourself — asset, market, direction,
entry/exit prices, stop loss, take profit, position size, dates, your own notes and reasoning, and any
trade screenshots you choose to upload.
- Strategy data: any trading strategies, entry/exit rules, and tags you create.
- Payment data: records of subscription payments (amount, network, status, transaction
hash) processed through our payment provider. We never see or store your wallet's private keys or seed
phrase.
- Usage data: basic technical information such as login timestamps and, where available,
your IP address — used for security purposes like detecting suspicious login activity.
- Support communications: messages you send us through the contact form or email.
2. Why we collect it
We use this data only to operate the service you signed up for:
- To create and secure your account, and to let you log in.
- To store and display your trading journal, strategies, and analytics back to you.
- To generate AI-based grading and coaching feedback on the trades you choose to submit for analysis.
- To process your subscription payment and manage your Pro access.
- To send essential account emails (email verification codes, password resets, payment confirmations).
- To detect and prevent abuse, fraud, or violations of our Terms of Service.
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use your trading data for advertising purposes.
3. Who we share it with
We only share data with the third-party providers necessary to run the service:
- NOWPayments (our cryptocurrency payment processor) — receives the information necessary
to generate and confirm your USDT payment. We do not share your trading journal data with them.
- Our AI provider — when you request an AI grade or use the AI Coach, the relevant trade
details (asset, prices, your notes, and your strategy rules) are sent to our AI provider's API to
generate the analysis. We do not send your name, email, or payment information to the AI provider.
- Email delivery provider — used solely to deliver verification codes, password resets,
and transactional emails.
We do not share your data with advertisers, data brokers, or any other third party for marketing purposes.
4. Cross-border data transfer
TradeProof AI and the third-party providers we rely on (including our AI provider and payment processor) may
process data on servers located outside your country of residence. By using the service, you acknowledge
that your data may be processed in a different jurisdiction than the one you are located in, which may have
different data protection laws than your home country.
5. How long we keep your data
We retain your account and trading data for as long as your account remains active. If you delete specific
trades or your entire account, that data is removed from our active database. Payment records may be
retained for a longer period where required for accounting, tax, or legal compliance purposes, even after
account deletion.
6. Your rights — deleting your account
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time.
- You can delete all of your logged trades at once from the Settings page.
- You can request full account deletion by contacting us — see the Contact section below.
- Depending on your location, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR (EU/UK) or CCPA
(California), including the right to request a copy of your data or to object to certain processing.
7. AI & data processing disclosure
We believe this is important enough to call out clearly: when you use AI Coach or request an AI grade on a
trade, the relevant trade and strategy details are sent to a third-party AI provider to generate that
analysis.
Specifically:
- Data is sent to the AI provider only when you actively trigger an AI feature (grading a trade, or
messaging AI Coach) — it is not sent automatically in the background.
- We do not use your data to train our own AI models, and to the best of our knowledge, our AI provider
does not use API data submitted through TradeProof AI to train their general-purpose models. You should
review your AI provider's own data usage policy for the most current and complete information on this
point, as it is determined by them, not by us.
- AI-generated grades, scores, and coaching notes are produced automatically and are not reviewed by a
human before being shown to you.
8. Cookies & tracking
We use a small number of strictly necessary cookies and browser storage items to operate the service —
primarily to keep you signed in (session cookies) and to remember your interface preferences (such as theme
and language). We do not currently use third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
Because these cookies are essential to logging in and using your account, the service will not function
correctly if you disable them. You can clear cookies at any time through your browser settings, which will
simply sign you out.
